Colour of the Month: Midsummer Eve

Midsummer Eve features a deep, murky green jelly base with an assortment of iridescent and metallic hex glitters in all different sizes. I adore the star glitters that are scattered within, although they’re a bit difficult to find. I fished out two and placed them specifically for this swatch. The formula is tough to work with. It doesn’t flow at all, which helps keep the glitters suspended, but you have to spread everything out carefully to keep the layers as even as possible. I used two coats and selectively dabbed on a partial third coat with the brush to cover up any patches, and you’ll want a good glossy top coat to seal everything in.

Fiend-exclusive of the Month: Milky Way

Milky Way features a sheer black-tinted jelly base packed with holo glitters that are mostly silver, with accents of red, orange, and blue. The overall effect is a pewter grey glitterbomb with little pops of color. Great New Year’s Eve polish. It’s so sparkly, and the colorful accents are a fun addition to the neutral base. The formula is great for a glitterbomb. It paints on evenly, and at two coats I had almost full coverage. I selectively brushed on a partial third coat to cover up the few remaining patches.

2-3 coats + 2 coats of top coat
