5 polishes (in this post)
Ethereal: Aphrodite
Ethereal continues her Greek Mythology theme with Aphrodite! Aphrodite features a sheer pink base absolutely packed with red/green shifting iridescent flakes and silver holo microflakes. I’ve always loved this jelly/flake/holo combination. It makes for a stunner in both shaded and direct lighting, and this soft shade of pink should be a fairly universally-flattering shade.

It’s the holo that’s mainly visible in bright lighting, but the flakies come out to play in indirect lighting or under matte top coat!
Femme Fatale: Funfetti Frosting
FF continues her Candy theme with Funfetti Frosting. It’s a thermal polish that transitions between a bubblegum pink when warm to a darker, a bit more purple-toned pink when cold, with assorted bar glitters and matte microglitters sprinkled within. It’s a fairly subtle transition but definitely noticeable in real life. Thermals have just been so difficult to photograph lately. I could not, for the life of me, catch the thermal shift with my DSLR camera. So I’m throwing in a cell phone picture, complete with the ice water dripping from my nails, to show the shift. It’s as close to what I can see with my eyes as I can get.
Also, the warm pink state might be showing up kind of light and pastel, but it’s neither in reality. It’s a classic, bright bubblegum pink, verging on neon but not quite.
I definitely recommend shaking or letting the bottle sit upside down for a bit before application to get more glitter payoff. Two thicker or three thinner coats will both do nicely. Unfortunately the metallic bars seem to be a bit more curved than the matte ones, which apply better and lay more flat, so that additional texture means I recommend two coats of top coat for a smooth finish.

Great Lakes: The Dancing Dragon
GLL continues her Avatar: The Last Airbender series with The Dancing Dragon. This polish features a light yellow base loaded with green/blue/purple shifting microflake shimmer. Unfortunately this is a shade of yellow that pulls very green on me, and it’s not helped by the green shimmer, so I think this polish will suit cooler tones much better. The shimmer is the type that is very sparkly, which I enjoy.

Kathleen & Co.: Canyon Sunset
Kathleen & Co. continues her Nature series with Canyon Sunset. This polish features a rosy pink base with red/green shifting shimmer and teensy silver holo glitters, tiny enough that they create no texture. This particular shade of pink is dusty and suitable for pretty much everyone I think. It’s a very feminine, very classy, very lovely shade.

Lilypad: Amplified
Lilypad continues her Magical Images series with Amplified. This polish features a sheer mustard-tinted base with various iridescent flakes, UCC flakes, and shimmers. This is a really unique combination, especially with the base color, and I truly think it works. The colors of the flakes get washed out in direct lighting, but in shaded lighting the colors pop more.
This one poses a staining hazard and also may tint your top coat brush, so make sure to wipe it off between nails to avoid coloring your top coat.
