Ethereal: Hestia

Ethereal continues her Greek mythology series with Hestia, a deep red-brown base with an intense red/green shimmer glow and scattered holographic flakes. My never-ending love of deep, vampy shades means I love this shade. The red glow is stronger than I could capture. It perfectly represents the embers of the hearth, Hestia’s domain.

Femme Fatale: Twinkle Sprinkle

FF continues her Candy theme with Twinkle Sprinkle. I mean…WOW. The glitters! The festivity! The fun! It’s just so cute I can hardly stand it. Over 40 types of glitter are packed into this polish, and there’s also a fair scattering of holographic microflakes. Hexes, circles, bars, metallic, holographic, matte…it’s a glitter smorgasbord. For all the applications, I turned the bottle upside down for a while before application and occasionally reshook throughout to maximize glitter payoff. You’ll want to be generous with top coat for a smooth finish afterwards.

There are lots of ways to wear this polish. Here’s the first way: 3 brushed coats over the naked nail–

Here it is in two coats as a topper over various cremes. I also sponged it on for a dense, full-coverage look that would be the life of the party–

And with a matte top coat, because what’s another layer at this point? Also it looks gorgeous–

Great Lakes: It’s the Quenchiest

GLL is back with another installment in her Avatar: The Last Airbender series! In the time since the last installment I’ve watched the series, and I have a renewed appreciation for all of the shades Mariah’s created. And all I have to say for the inspiration behind this beautiful shade is: Oh Sokka…🤣

It’s the Quenchiest features a rosy peachy-pinky base loaded with gold-aqua shifting, sparkling shimmer and a subtle scattered holo effect. Such a lovely, warm shade.

Lilypad: Water Colours

Lilypad continues her Magical Images series with Water colours, which features a sheer (clear?) base loaded with iridescent flakes, UCC flakes, and blue-purple shifting shimmer. I think the effect is intended to be sheer. Even at three generous coats there was still prominent VNL showing, but it’s quite a delicate and lovely look.
