Release: 29 November 2019
13 polishes + 2 exclusive GWP (this post contains a subset)
A collection of various finishes inspired by the wonder and imagination of Russian ballet
The full collection contains 13 polishes + 2 that were only available as gifts during the initial Black Friday 2019 presale. Of the full collection, I have the polishes in the crushed gold flake finish we’ve come to know and love, as well as both exclusive gifts.
Tiny Ginger Snaps
The base red is an intense rust/cinnamon kind of shade. More sophisticated than your classic holiday red. The formula leans more crelly than creme, which allows those flakes to build depth beautifully. And somehow this is achieved in just two coats. Shannon works magic I tell you.
This faded shade of blue is so subdued and gentle. The formula also leans more on the crelly side. I used three coats of polish for extra depth. Two may well be sufficient for shorter nails.
My dreams are made of this shade of yellow– perfectly soft and buttery, with none of those awful green tones that often plague the light yellows of makers who dare venture into this segment of the color wheel. Add in those golden flakes, and I’m done for. The formula leans more creme than crelly. I show three coats here.
Holiday festivity in a white crelly. I recommend three thin coats for maximum flakie payoff.
And now the gift polishes.
This polish is a free gift with any purchase of $50 or more during the Black Friday 2019 presale. Adorable pale baby blue base with gold flakes. Pastels don’t play well on my skin, but I imagine this would be positively adorable on skin more neutral than mine. The formula leans more creme than crelly. I used three thin coats.
This polish is a free gift with any purchase of $75 or more during the Black Friday 2019 presale. This indigo blue base glows with pink/green shifting shimmer and scattered holo. I used three thin coats for maximum depth and glow.
