Colour of the Month: Rainbow Sunstone

“The international awareness symbol for Childhood Cancer is the gold ribbon. Unlike other cancer awareness ribbons, which focus on a singular type of cancer, the gold ribbon is a symbol for all forms of cancer affecting children and adolescents.
We have chosen this month’s organisation to be the Kids with Cancer Foundation, a non-profit in which 100% of funds assist doctors, nurses, researchers, families, support groups and hospitals involved in caring for kids of all ages that are affected by cancer.
KwCF is involved in funding research into childhood cancers, providing family financial assistance and at-home help, school tutoring for kids in cancer treatment, and providing services and support to children’s hospitals throughout Australia.”

Rainbow Sunstone features a fawn brown crelly base with an assortment of pink/orange/green iridescent flakes as well as some silver/grey iridescent shard-like flakes. The formula is very light. It applies evenly, but I needed to build up the opacity in four coats.

Fiend-exclusive of the Month: Peppercorn Medley

Peppercorn Medley features a clear base with glitters in red, brown, silver, and copper, some of which also flash holo rainbows. This is the kind of polish that really could only be born of a specific inspiration. I can taste all the peppercorns in my mouth just looking at my nails! Super sparkly and super fun. I applied this polish in two regular coats and then one thicker coat. If you prefer thinner coats you may want to use four coats total.
