A Halloween collection of holo polishes

Shannon was more in the mood for soft, candy-like shades, so we have that color palette for a rather unique set of Halloween-inspired shades. I’m afraid I’m not going to give lots of description since…I’m just not up for it at the moment. All the formulas are similar. They apply smoothly and easily in 2 or 3 coats. Two gives a lighter look, three a more opaque one. I used three coats across the board.

Ghost House

I’m starting with the only one with no iridescent elements. Ghost House is a pure silver holo polish packed with silver holo microflakes for a strongly sparkly linear holo effect.

Bone Appetit

Bone Appetit features a peachy pink base with red/green shifting microflakes and shimmer, finished with scattered holo flakes. I don’t know if it’s just because my hands were cold when I was swatching, but I think this shade gives me some lobster-claw redness 😢 If your skin tone is similar to mine, I’d proceed with caution with this one.

Booberry Pie

Booberry Pie features a bright sky blue base with blue/indigo microflakes and shimmer, finished with scattered holo flakes. The shimmer does have a slight shift between blue and indigo although I had trouble catching it on camera.

Little Boo Peep

Little Boo Peep features an orchid pink base with pink/gold shifting microflakes and shimmer, finished with scattered holo flakes. The base color straddles pink and purple, but ultimately I think it leans a bit more pink.

Squad Ghouls

Squad Ghouls features a soft aqua base with red/gold/green shifting microflakes and shimmer, finished with scattered holo flakes. This base aqua color is very unique and exceedingly lovely. It’s got a soft touch of green to it, so it’s not pure blue.

Resting Witch Face

I’m finishing with my favorite of the set. Resting Witch Face features a sheer base with bright green/blue/purple microflake and shimmer, finished with scattered holo flakes. The other iridescent polishes above have a bit of a flatter look, but this one has a metallic edge and shine to it, making it my favorite.
