MTK Design is bringing us a fall trio inspired by, in her words, “the beauty of change and remembering the past in all its rosy hues.”

Nostalgic

All of the formulas of this collection apply the same: a perfect creme formula that self-levels effortly, covers well in one coat, and is perfect in two.

Nostalgic is a deep pink-toned mauve creme with subtle red shimmer. The shimmer doesn’t shift and isn’t very strong. It’s almost more of a hidden bonus only for you, the wearer. This is a very classic fall shade, perfect for pairing with cozy knits and cardigans. It evokes that kind of feel.

Sentimental

Sentimental is an undersaturated red creme base with subtle red shimmer. The base color is a little reminiscent of brick. This shade is very demure and subdued.

Reminiscent

Reminiscent is a deep berry-toned maroon creme with subtle red shimmer, and in a departure from the other two of this trio, it also contains some larger gold sparks! The shimmer is the most apparent in this polish. That fact, combined with it being the deepest shade, makes it my personal favorite of this set. Interestingly, it seems to pull more red from far away, but up close the purple notes come out a bit more. This shade is subtle, but intriguing.
