Colour of the Month: Pumpkin Patch

Pumpkin Patch features a very deep, greyed-out green crelly base with lots of orange glitters in various sizes. Such a cute, but also very FF-esque, take on the inspiration. The base color is dark but if you focus, it’s definitely not just a plain grey color. I had some trouble catching its true depth while simultaneously conveying its green tone, so know that it is both dark and subtly green.

Two coats just gave me a teensy bit of paleness at the free edge, so I opted for three coats for full coverage. The formula is smooth and easy to work with though! I used two coats of top coat for a smooth finish.

Fiend-exclusive of the Month: Welkin at Dusk

Welkin at Dusk is a thermal that transitions between teal when warm and an indigo blue when cold. It’s also loaded with lots of silver holo glitters and tiny holo microflakes.

It’s been quite hot here recently, which, when coupled with my shorter nails, meant I had a hard time catching the cold state. I did my best with some ice water, but I couldn’t really dry my nails before needing to photograph. The warm state is one of those colors that doesn’t show up well on camera, so please know it is more saturated and a bit greener and brighter. One coat of top coat was enough to smooth over all the glitters!
