Zombie Claw Polish: Twilight Saga quad

A quad inspired by the Twilight book series

La Tua Cantante

La Tua Cantante features a cool-toned red base with a soft linear holo effect, red and pink iridescent flakes, silver holo microglitter, and irregular black shards. The shards aren’t super common, so if you want lots of them you’ll probably have to fish around for them. I really like the addition of holo microglitter to linear holos. The result is that much more sparkly!

The formula applies smoothly and evenly. Two coats covers well, but I opted for a third coat for a richer color.

Bond on Fire

Bond on Fire features a purple base with blue/purple shifting shimmer and red/pink/green iridescent flakes. It’s finished with a light scattered holo. This one is pretty sheer and needs to be built up in three coats. Deceptively, it really doesn’t look very dark on the nails. The flakies lay down really flat, which is very important for flakies in a multichrome base.

Lion Fell in Love with the Lamb

Lion Fell in Love with the Lamb features a medium grey crelly with pink/purple/green iridescent flakes and some scattered holo. This is my favorite of the collection. The grey base is so squishy-looking, the flakies lay nice and flat, and best of all, I was able to achieve opacity in just two coats! The formula is absolutely perfection. Can’t ask for anything more.

Renesmee

And lastly, Renesmee features a subdued cobalt jelly base with a mix of iridescent and UCC flakes and scattered holo. The flakes are primarily in pink/green. The formula was the runniest of the four, although it wasn’t terribly difficult to work with. This shade of blue doesn’t really show accurately, so please know that it’s not super saturated. It’s a redder kind of blue, rather than a greener kind of blue, if that makes sense.
