BKL has created a custom duo for the Facebook Blurplewinkle group, which celebrates blurple (blue-purple) and periwinkle polishes! This duo will only be available for the month of July 2020.

Halloween in July

Halloween in July features a dark, undersaturated blurple base loaded with indigo/purple/gold shifting shimmer. The shimmer overtakes the base color so the overall effect is solidly purple. The formula was a little sheerer than I’d expect from this kind of shade, but it applies easily, and the sheerness is probably to let the shimmer show well.

But of Quartz

But of Quartz features a light aqua blue base with green/blue/purple shifting shimmer. The shimmer is more shy in this one. The base color is perfect for warmer weather! I was almost good at two coats, but three coats covered up the tiny bit of patchiness that remained, which is very normal for this kind of lighter color.
