The second installment of Stardust is here! This time, Ethereal and Kathleen & Co. were inspired by seashells.

Ethereal: Shell Yeah

Ethereal’s contribution is Shell Yeah, a cool-toned bright pink packed with red/green shifting shimmer. I’m not usually a fan of these Barbie kind of pinks, but there’s so much glowy shimmer in this one that it really takes over. I’m so in love with the far shift to green against the cool pink base.

3 coats + top coat

Kathleen & Co.: Green Abalone

Kathleen & Co.’s contribution is Green Abalone, which features a blue-leaning turquoise base packed with green/blue/purple shifting shimmer. I don’t know what it is about this polish…it is so so beautiful. I don’t really like bright green/blue shades, since they often don’t mix well with my yellow-toned skin, but I thoroughly enjoyed wearing this one. That purple glow at the far end of the shimmer shift is so gorgeous. It’s such a mermaid-esque shade, perfect for summertime.

Be careful with application. At three coats it was still a tiny bit patchy, but it’s somewhat hard to notice with all the shimmer. It didn’t bother me that much, but if you’re very particular you might want a fourth coat.

I absolutely love this duo. Both polishes are stunning in their own right, but I adore how they work together as well. So glowy and perfect for the warmer months.
