I’m seriously so in love with Femme Fatale’s candy theme! It’s bringing such cuties into this world. This light blue with red/gold shifting shimmer is so pretty, and those white matte glitters are such a fun addition. Heart eyes for days…

Great Lakes Lacquer: The MetalBender

GLL is continuing her Avatar: The Last Airbender theme, and this month’s polish is inspired by Toph, who essentially invented metalbending. This polish is more grey in real life, it’s not as gold as my photos look. The base color is a soft grey, but there’s a lot of gold/green shifting shimmer added. I love the warmth the shimmer adds…golden shimmer always makes polishes more wearable on my skin tone. I’m still a sucker for a good linear holo, and this one is so lovely I decided to make a GIF to showcase it in motion. Also, I think my macro for this polish is my favorite I’ve ever taken. ❤

Yes, I took it with my cell phone. Yes, I took it under dingy bathroom lights. Yes, this polish still shines.

I love how the shimmer and holo really come to life. Linear holos look so much better in motion than they do in still images.

Lilypad: Pepe le Pew

Lilypad is continuing her Looney Tunes theme with this gorgeous contribution! Oddly enough, I generally dislike true black polishes, but I adore polishes that are so dark they are almost black. I dunno. It’s subtle, but I’m all about that note of color slipped into dark shades. I’m not quite sure what’s in this polish, if it’s just glitter or a mix of glitter and flake, but it produces such a stunning starry night sky effect in a backdrop of the darkest shade of blue. I loved wearing this one so much. It feels so elegant and classy.

Thankfully, it does not have any issues with color bleeding into top coat, or with top coat changing the polish’s look.

Even though it is a sparkly polish, I also love how it looks in shaded lighting.

These three polishes are all stunners, and I wholeheartedly recommend any and all of them.
