4 polishes
A mini-collection celebrating Scofflaw’s 7th anniversary, inspired by David Bowie
Congratulations to Scofflaw on 7 years in the indie polish world! To celebrate, Finch has created four new Bowie-inspired polishes. Previous Bowie-themed Scofflaw shades David Bowie’s Bulge, Moonage Daydream, and Diamond Dogs will also be available during this special birthday event.
This is the first official Scofflaw collection to have the wonderful wider paddle brush that tapers at the end. This brush makes the application of these thicker, glitter-heavy polishes a breeze. The wide brush really helps distribute glitters evenly.
All four polishes cover well in two coats, and I also added two coats of glossy top coat for a smooth finish, as is the norm for glitter-heavy polishes.
As the World Falls Down
“As the World Falls Down” has a medium blue base with various glitters, specks, blue-purple microflake shimmers, and scattered holo.
2 coats + 2 coats of top coat
Ground Control to Major Tom
“Ground Control to Major Tom” has a dark (but not quite black) base with a variety of shades of blue glitter, silver flecks, and scattered holo.
2 coats + 2 coats of top coat
Oh! You Pretty Things
“Oh! You Pretty Things” is a bright raspberry pink filled with dark glitters, silvery specks, and glimmers of raspberry sparkle. The overall look really reminds me of dragonfruit, don’t you think?
2 coats + 2 coats of top coat
Starman
Starman has a jelly base filled with metallic silver glitter, sparkles of green, aqua, and blue, and finished with scattered holo. Those silver glitters really give a special shiny appearance to the overall look!
2 coats + 2 coats of top coat
My favorite of this quad is definitely the last polish, Starman. Glitter crellies can sometimes feel a bit heavy, but the presence of those silver metallic glitters really lightens the whole appearance of this particular polish and gives it an otherworldly vibe, worthy of the original inspiration.

These are nice polishes. Was never a big Bowie fan, some of his stuff was okay ๐
