Femme Fatale: Jelly Bears

Inspired by colorful gummy bears, following Femme Fatale’s candy theme

This polish is SO CUTE. I’m so in love with FF’s theme I tell you! It is perfect for allowing Sophie’s creativity with colors and glitters run free. I don’t even like hot pink, but the sheer fun of this polish wins me over. I have so many photos of this polish…direct light, indirect light, glossy, matte, alone, as a topper…it is so incredibly versatile and looks beautiful every which way.

It is intended to be sheer, so if you have very strong VNL it may show through.

3 coats + 1 coat of glossy top coat

And just for fun, I threw it over Femme Fatale’s Eyes of Purple, a hot pink to purple thermal polish.

Great Lakes Lacquer: My Cabbages!!

Inspired by an unfortunate cabbage merchant whose cart keeps getting destroyed in Avatar: The Last Airbender

I haven’t watched TLA, but this polish is really making me want to 🤣

Very pretty bright green color, filled with red/green shifting flakes and accented with some scattered holo. The holo isn’t very visible but it adds a lovely sparkle. Great Lakes Lacquer has done a few polishes in this flakie finish, so this one looks like a green sister to the navy The Painted Lady and the red The Exiled Prince (previous polishes in GLL’s HHC series), as well as to the purple These Violent Delights Have Violent Ends from the Westworld collection.

Lilypad Lacquer: People!!

Inspired by Gossamer from Looney Tunes

This polish looks a little cooler-toned in real life. These bright reds can be hard to photograph. The glitters within sparkle beautifully in direct light.

Staining isn’t uncommon with intense reds, and indeed I experienced significant staining from this shade. I would recommend wearing two coats of base coat for extra protection. My top coat brush also pulled up some red color, so be sure to check your top coat brush and wipe it off thoroughly between applying top coat to each nail so your bottle of top coat doesn’t turn red.
